The original artwork was a demo piece I did while I had a monthly booth at The Market at Liberty Crossing in Gainesville, Texas in 2019. I wish that they could have continued, but COVID ruined a lot of things for a lot of people. I chose the subject matter because that particular day marked the 20th anniversary of me coming to Texas, and I travelled in a manner similar to Norman. Just a suitcase, a clarinet, and a Greyhound bus ticket, and maybe $100 to my name. I don't think I would have the wherewithal to do that again, but when you're young and foolish, the sky's the limit.
This is an 8.5" x 11" art print on archival paper printed with archival ink.
The original artwork was 5.5" x 8.5" and currently resides in a private collection in Plano, Texas.
