It was a beautiful spring day in Marble Falls, Texas, and Norman was doing some plein air painting at the famous Bluebonnet House. The fields were awash in wildflowers, and the sun was shining. The dewberry bushes along the fencerow were full of blooms, and the redbud tree was finishing up it's flowering. "Be sure to get my good side!" said Shark as he posed amongst the Indian paintbrushes. "I'll do my best!" said Norman.
This painting is gouache, pen and ink, and acrylic painted on watercolor paper. It is framed and matted under plexiglass to 20" x 28". The frame is a rustic barnwood color (because it looked better than plain black.)
